Admittedly, these images are biased by my North American, New York perspective. With that said, the pain of poverty is too prevalent in too many faces to be written off as my biased view. Crowded buses, rib showing animals, adults and children carrying burdens are too ubiquitous to be considered cherry picked. Yet despite the sadness I see, these are a warm people in a beautiful land.
